Social Media

I honestly will never understand it. The aspect of just having friends in an online aspect where people share and like each others “things” just doesn’t make sense. I especially don’t get Facebook. The act of sending friend requests to people who you may have once had a conversation with goes against me. To me, friends are the people who will go out of their way to consistently be a part of my life, not just a person who will like the things you like or share the things you do.

  1. Honestly, nowadays Facebook seems to be more of a way of showing how popular you are rather than an actual social site. I myself have friends on Facebook who I have met years ago in a small get together and have yet to have talked since. It’s definitely become a problem and takes away from the actual social part about it.
